Honoring Our Hero: Michael Casamassa
At Hernando Beach Diving with Heroes, we proudly introduce a new initiative where you can directly support the journey of individual veterans as they find healing and purpose through scuba diving.
Meet Michael Casamassa
Michael is a United States veteran who has bravely served our country and now faces the ongoing battles that many veterans do — the invisible wounds of service. We’re working to help Michael discover the therapeutic power of scuba diving by guiding him through his Open Water Certification and equipping him with all the necessary gear.
This is where you come in.
Your donation helps cover the specific costs of Michael’s dive training and gear — every dollar goes directly toward his journey beneath the surface.
Michael's Diving Journey – Support a Specific Need
You can make a difference by sponsoring part of Michael’s certification or equipment:
-
Open Water Certification – $550
-
Equipment - $500+
-
Park & Spring Entrance Fees – $70–$80
Every contribution, large or small, brings Michael one step closer to the water — and one step further from the burdens he carries.
