Each participant in our program receives full dive training and equipment at no cost to them, thanks to the generosity of people like you. Below are the heroes currently going through our program — and you can help them take their next breath underwater.

At Hernando Beach Diving with Heroes, we believe every American veteran and first responder deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and rediscover peace through the therapeutic power of scuba diving. By sponsoring a veteran, you're not just making a donation — you're giving them a life-changing experience.

How It Works

  1. Choose a Hero to Support
    Browse through our list of veterans and first responders. Each profile shares a bit about their story and goals. When you find someone you'd like to support, click the “Click to Support” button beneath their photo to begin your sponsorship.

  2. Choose Your Sponsorship Type
    You can support a veteran in a variety of ways:

    • One-Time Donation – A single contribution that helps fund training, equipment, or dive trips.

    • Monthly Sponsorship – Ongoing support that ensures your chosen hero can continue progressing through their scuba journey.

    • Gear Sponsorship – Cover the cost of essential scuba equipment like masks, fins, wetsuits, or tanks.

    • Trip Sponsorship – Help send a veteran on an organized dive trip that fosters healing and connection.

    • Corporate Sponsorships – Businesses can sponsor a veteran, team, or program and receive lasting recognition on our platform.

    • Honorary Gifts – Make a donation in honor or memory of someone special, supporting a hero in their name.

Recognition for Business Sponsors

All business sponsors will be permanently listed at the bottom of the veteran’s Dedication Page. This includes your business name, logo, and a link to your website, as a lasting tribute to your support and commitment to our mission.
